Shipping policy

Freight shipping. 

All larger items ship via freight service. This may include headboards, beds, storage benches, and some custom items.

If you do not receive delivery or a call from the freight company within 6 business days after the ship date, we urge you to contact us at cs@fornowdesigns.com. Your package(s) may need to pass through areas in the United States that are experiencing bad weather conditions and may delay delivery of your order.

AVOID ADDITIONAL FEES. All freight items are delivered by appointment only. Once an appointment is made, if the freight company attempts to deliver your order and you miss your appointment causing your order not to deliver, you (the customer) will be responsible for any re-delivery fees incurred.
You must not request additional services. The shipping fee that was paid with your order does not include inside delivery or lift gate services. If these services are requested, our company will not be liable for the fees incurred. If these services are requested by you (the customer), the freight company will bill you for these services and you must pay them or they could be sent to a collection agency.

NOTE: The freight company may cancel and reschedule your delivery appointment at their discretion. This will occasionally happen due to sudden changes in staff, severe traffic, emergencies or other issues. You, the consignee, are responsible for following up with the appointment clerk should you have any questions or concerns regarding delivery.

DAMAGES: There is always a possibility of damages to packages while in transit. We ask that you please inspect each box once you receive them. If there is any damage to the boxes, refuse delivery and write 'damage' on the bill of lading that you will sign and hand back to the driver before the driver leaves.
If you suspect or there is any indication that the item itself has been damaged, you must refuse the package 'because of damage'.
Though this is rarely the case with our carriers, this information will be extremely important if a claim is filed.
If the above instructions regarding damages are not followed and your item has experienced damages, your damage claim will not be accepted.

 

Ground shipping. 

All smaller items ship via FedEx Ground service. This may include some wall mount headboards, benches, pillows, and some custom items.

A signature is required for all shipments. This service may not be removed for any item.
